Scope of Roles:To achieve agreed individual sales volume and revenue objectives by acquiring, growing and retaining profitable SME Banking customers within acceptable risk parameters. In addition, contribute toward achieving team’s overall target and delivering EP objective.
Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
Maintain close relationship with SME Banking customers in providing solution based initiatives to meet their needs.
Generate new business via direct selling to customers/referrals from different sales channels.
Build and expand existing customer relationship through in-depth analysis of their needs.
Priorities activities to maximize revenue contribution from the high potential customers.
Maintain a high level professionalism in consultations and profiling with customers.
Gather and probe customer profile before Credit Manager conduct in-depth credit analysis by providing high quality credit applications.
Structure transaction/deals based on customer needs and provide supporting justifications
Consult and recommend strategies where account management or recovery is needed on problem accounts, assisting credit in identifying sources for minimizing loan losses.
Work closely with branch service staff and other SME Banking service centers to ensure a high level of after-sales service is provided to customers.
Give regular feedback to Manager, Marketing and Channel Manager on product processes based on customer feedback.
Comply with all compliance requirements with high attention on alertness to MLP procedures and take the lead at all times to be alert to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity.
Selection Criteria:
To meet the challenge, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes
A university degree, major in banking or a business-related discipline is preferred
Relevant experience with a proven track record in selling to corporate customers, specifically to small and medium enterprises (SME).
Sound knowledge of trade finance products, especially trade and credit facilities.
Knowledge of operational procedures, documentation requirements, banking practices and regulations related to small business banking.
Proven sales track record; passion for selling and result driven.
Strong presentation, communication and negotiations skills.
Good sense of credit and familiar with risk & challenges associated in lending to SME
